The American Legion Auxiliary of the John H. Slaughter Post 30 was chartered by the Arizona State American Legion. The Auxiliary is responsible for much of the food preparation and service at most meetings and events held by Post 30, in addition to their own fundraising and events. Since 1976 the Auxiliary has sent two high school girls to Girls State, in coordination with the Legion's support for sending two high school boys to Boys State.
