The American Legion District 8 concise of 13 posts - but divided by Mingus Mountain! Six of those posts were Cottonwood, Cornville, Camp Verde, Cordes Lakes, Black Canyon City and Crown King joined forces to invite locals and dignitaries to celebrate the 100th Birthday of the American Legion with them!
Activities included a keynote speech from Congressman Paul A. Gosar, free food, games and much more! The event was
reticent of an American gathering just like in 1919!
