The course covers breaking down the preamble of The American Legion, so members know what they are pledging to as members, it covers the positons of Commander, Senior and Junior Vice-Commander, Finance Officer, Adjutant, Sergeant-at-Arms, Chaplain, and Historian, and spends quality time sharing with the students the difference between being a Boss and a Leader, and how to be a successful Post. Towards the end of the training it educates the students on how the District level can better assist the Posts.
