On 4/30/2016, the Arrowhead-John E. Ford III, Post 144 celebrated it's one year anniversary at the Dillon's BBQ within the Veteran's Room. Many dignitaries attended the ceremony; such as, District 11 Commander Dan Palmer, District 11 Senior Vice-Commander Ken King, Post #145 Commander Bobbie Kimelton, Past Post #144 Commander Bill Cobb along with his Son and girlfriend and Past Dept. of Arizona Baseball Chairman Rolin Kohrs. The Post took this opportunity to award Past Post Commander Bill Cobb with his Honorary Life Membership award and also recognized four AF JROTC Cadets with medals for their outstanding achievements throughout the year and presented them scholarship funds to attend college.
