88 Veterans, Spouses, and family traveled to Washington DC for the dedication of the World War II Veterans Memorial. The group departed on 28 May and attended the dedication ceremony for this monument to our fallen heroes

Shinnston Community Bicycle Rodeo

May 13, 2017
The American Legion Riders contributed to the purchase of 2 bicycles for the Bicycle Rodeo, it was a great day watching the Children's faces as they won a free bicycle. The program focused on safety with bicycle inspections and obstacle course. The children were provided with free helmets. Safety material for parents including free child identification and fingerprint kits from The National Center For Missing and Explotted Children.
