Post 305 is similar to many in The American Legion. The post used to be unique in that we operated without a building. This however, is not true anymore because more and more posts are now like us; meeting in our local community center. We participate in The American Legion's Boys State program. We provide a Post Color Guard to lead our float in the local 4th of July Parade as well as presenting the colors at requested events. We support the JROTC Awards Program at two of our local high schools. Above all, we work closely with our Auxiliary Unit doing our best to support our local veterans and their families.
