Post Namesake
John Willman: Willman died in France October 29, 1918 of pneumonia. He had been in active service for months and after passing through several fierce engagements unscathed, fell ill with influenza in the trenches and passed away in a hospital within a short time. Willman was one of the most prosperous farmers of the county. He had operated his widowed mother's farm in Crow township for years. He is survived by a large family of brothers and sisters.
