What Makes this Post Unique

We are located in Cowpens, South Carolina and we are just a few miles from the Cowpens Battlefield. There have been two ships named after the town of Cowpens. One ship was in service during WWII and the other ship was in service after WWII and is currently being retooled to be put back in service sometime in 2020.

In our two years of exsistence we have increased our membership by 47% and we have been able to get in a financial position to support American Legion Programs like Boys State, Oratorical and Law Cadet. We plan to increase the numers of students we can send to these programs and possibly be able to fund another Legion program in 2019.
