Post Namesake

Our Post is named for jay Wilson of Thompson, Ohio. Born July 18, 1888, enlisted in Company D 102nd Infratry on September 18, 1917. Jay Wilson went overseas to serve in france on April 23, 1918. He was killed in action on June 17, 1918. later his body was returned and committed to its final resting place in Maplegrove Cemetery, Thompson, ohio. Each Memorial day moring memebers of Jay Wilson Post 112 stop ay hos grave to pay respects.

What Makes this Post Unique

Post 112 is always reasy to assit the community in any beneficial movement and has sponsored many worth-while project of its own among them Legion Baseball, Rifle Club, Buckeye Boys State. Americnaism & Governent Test, Gift for the Yanks, Memorial Day Parade and Services, Madison High School Scholarships, Madison  Funeral Team, et.  Our current location was made possible by the WWI, WWII and Korea Veterans making sure we have a place to call our own, God Bless them. We have four successful groups with over 8oo memebers, Legion, Auxiliary, Son of the Legion and Legion Riders working together. We have aquires a M60A3TTS Battletank which is on display proudly in fornt our Post 112 Home.
