What Makes this Post Unique

Being a good legion post,  we lead the legion family by having achieved 100% membership this year.   Our Auxiliary (Unit 44) chartered by National on May 25, 1929 has also achieved 100% membership this year.  Additionally, Our Sons of the Legion chartered May 7, 1934 has just made 100% membership.   Way to go Malverne.

Malverne welcomes all, recruits all who are eligible, and works as a family to help the militiary, veterans, their families and the community at large.   We  have worked with  the Law and Order progam, National Security Program, the boys and girls Scouts, the Boys and Girl State Programs, Rehab & as well as children and youth and Commumity Awareness Programs, and many others.  We believe in and try to live the  spirit of the American Legion.  Our motto is vets helping vets in our families, in our post, in our department and across our wonderful country.  Why not visit our facebook page and check us out, please feel free to like us and (if eligible) why not stop by and join us?
