Denville Memorial Post 390, American Legion announced plans have been completed to construct a new Legion homeand playground. The building will be located on Wallace Avenue in Denville.
According to the Denville Herald, American Legion Post 390 welcomed its first female member.

A 57-mm gun was delivered to Post 390. The present from the government cost $50 for freight and de-militarization. It sits at the front of the Legion building.
Denville Memorial Post 390, American Legion, will sponsor a new Boy Scout troop to be orgnized Monday evening, March 15 at the Post home. The extension in organization committee of Morris-Sussex, B.S.A., will be present to assist. All men interested in serving on this troop committee or in organiing additional troops are invited to attend.

Thompson. George MacLen was named chairman. Frank Vrabel, named secretary, Bernard Stoecker was named treasurer and assistant scout master.
Boy Scout Troop 118 sponsored by Denville Memorial Poost 390, American Legion, received its first charter and troop colors at ceremonies Tuesday night when the nine Tenderfoot Scouts were invested.
It was announced this week by outgoing Commander K.R. Thompson that installation of new officers of Denville Memorial Post 390 and Auxiliary Unit 390, the American Legion, will be held for the first time in the new Legion home next Wednesday at 8:30 p.m.
