Post Namesake
Harvey Mann, at 27 years old was drafted into the Army for service in the Great War. He entered service in March of 1918 and was shipped over seas to France that same autumn. Just four days before the armistice was signed, Louis Harvey Mann was killed in action 07 November 1918, on the battlefield in France. As the first causality from Humboldt, the Legion Hall in Humboldt was named after him.
