What Makes this Post Unique
A 48 star American Flag is on permanent display at Post 317. This flag was presented in 1994 at the 75th Birthday of the post. It is the flag that was used to cover Louis Tveite's casket when the soldier was returned home from France in 1918. SAL was started by Commander Arnold Troe in 2006.
