• May 29, 1950: Chartered Post 340 • May 1958: Acquired land, a former Revolutionary War Parade field, from the Town of Sheffield, Massachusetts. • 1963: A structure of steel and the roof built • 1970: First annual Chicken BBQ • 1974: Post Home building started • May 6, 1976: Acquired howitzer • September 1985: Mortgage retired • 2010: Donated land for Sheffield Senior Center and their septic system. • 2010: Renovated Hall interior • May 2012: New roof on building
