Our Commander takes retired Veterans with war related injuries such as missing limbs, mental problems, etc. on a "no cost to them" deep sea fishing trip (2 at a time) to Alaska. They fish for 1 week on a hired fishing boat and in Alaskan rivers keeping what they catch. -- Every year on Veterans Day the Kuna, Idaho government class join our post rising 50 US flags along the "Road of Honor" at the Boise VA hospital followed by a visit to the VA home. The Kuna class is also taken out for breakfast at a local restaurant. They return that evening to retire the flags.
