Winter Garden Post 63 was granted a temporary charter. The Post was named Hugh T. Gregory and given the number 63. At the time the Post had 15 members.

Post home was build sometime around 1926. The land was donated by Morgan C and Blanch Britt and B H and Charlotte Roper, developers of the Britt Roper Subdivision. An interesting feature of the construction is the exteriors of split cypress, giving each course of siding a cambered appearance.
