Although numbered 29, our post was the first Veteran's group to organize in Florida after World War I.  Our post was integral to the success of the 1927 and 1937 Legion conventions in Europe.  Our post has been a major part of disaster recovery in South Florida, beginning with the 1926 hurricane and continuing today.
