The first official meeting of Dunedin Memorial Post No. 275 was held on October 6, 1958 at 8 pm at the Lion’s Den in Dunedin. In mid December Permanent officers were installed: Kenneth Adelsten, Commander Stanley Anderson, Vice Commander Robert Armstrong, Vice Commander Jerome McSweeney, Adjutant Gerry Echement, Finance officer John Heinlein, Chaplain Arthur Frey, Sgt-at Arms Oliver Cortright, Service Officer Byron Miller, Historian Haddon Johnson, Judge Advocate
