Glen Peters - Glen Richard Peters, a native of the Fruitville area of Sarasota, was a U.S. Marine PVT serving in the 24th Marine Regiment, 4th Marines Division, in WWII. He was killed in action on March 1, 1945 in Iwo Jima.
