He received his Draft Card on 5 May,1917.His card number was 966..He was a member of The CT National Guard .and served as a Private with F Company, 102nd Infantry Regiment in France during WW I He died July 21, 1918 while fighting in France. He is buried in Fere-en-Tarenois France in the Oise-Aisne American Cemetery Plot A, row 4, grave 24.
