Big Bear Lake Post 584 was founded by Commander Robert Hornberger (USNavy ret.) in 1947, after WW2.  Our Post , at 6750 feet, makes us the highest full time post and private Club in the USA. We support our local community throughout the year and work with other non-profits to help take care of our veterans, youth and promote Americanism.

Our Legion Family welcomes any and all members from other American Legion Posts and Veterans of Foreign Wars to come on up and visit.
