Redfield Post "199," which operated for 16 years, received its National Charter on September 8, 1943, with 25 charter members who were veterans of World War I.

"Windon Ford" Post 343, was incorporated by National Charter on March 11, 1974, with 25 members.

The Supplemental Charter correcting the organization's name was officially granted on August 26, 1986.
