On April 22, 2017, American Legion Post and Unit 48 in Warm Springs, Oregon held its 2nd annual Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans event. Veterans from the Vietnam era were honored for their service to the United States. Stevens-Chute Post 4 members were well represented at this event. Post 4 members that were honored for their service during the Vietnam War era were Finance Officer and Judge Advocate Denny Drury, Past Post 4 Commander J.W. Terry, Chaplain Joe Gallagher, Historian Dick Tobiason, and Executive (E) Board member Fred Coeyn. Stevens-Chute Post 4 Commander William Chan, Post 4 Adjutant Lara Chan, Unit 4 President Karen Banks, Unit 4 Secretary Yvonne Drury, and Unit 4 Chaplain Gail Gallagher attended the event to support their fellow family members.
