American Legion National Historian Susan B. Mason of Florida announced that Pony Express Post 359 had won First Award in the One-Year Post Narrative contest held during the 2014 Fall Meetings in Indianapolis, Indiana, October 13 - 16, 2014. National Historian Mason read the results in her report to the National Executive Committee on October 16, 2014.
It is the second consecutive year that Post 359 has received the honor.
