The Ormond Beach American Legion was chartered on October 6th, 1950. Not long afterwards the name was changed to the "CASIN YOUNG" Legion in memory of WW II war hero Navy Captain Casin Young who was killed in battle in the Solomon Islands in the Pacific theatre. Full story »
