Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council sponsored "OUR STORIES; OUR LIVES: OUR GREATEST GENERATION" A National Traveling Museum exhibit that opened in the Cross Timbers City of Eastland, TX in February 2015. The Grand opening event occurred on Saturday morning February 7, 2015. The exhibition highlighted the lives and times of WWII veterans and the Civilian work force of the 1930's & 1940's era that became known as OUR GREATEST GENERATION. Several members of Turnbow-Higgs American Legion Post 240 were ask to participate in the Grand opening proceedings. Commander Jim Cox played TAPS; Chaplain Leroy Griffin offered the invocation and Post Adjutant Roger Easter was Master of Ceremony. Stephenville Mayor, Kenny Weldon was the guest speaker.

An audience (250-300) comprised of veterans and Cross Timber area citizen were present for the Grand Opening.
