On January 12, 2016 Post 26 conducted the Korean Ambassador for Peace Medal Ceremony in conjunction with the State of South Dakota Ceremony. Veterans of the Korean War receiving their Peace Medals locally were Leonard DeVries, Bernard Harris, Donnie Hoffmann, Richard Punt.
Veteran Adeams Punt recieved his metal in Pierre that day.
