for veterans, a strong national defense, patriotic youth programs and Americanism. Among other activities,

Post 74 has been giving that commitment to service since 1920 through programs such as American Legion

South Carolina Baseball, Chesterfield High School scholarships, American Legion Palmetto Boys State,

American Legion H. W. Dare Maness High School Oratorical Contest, and American Legion Auxiliary.
