Our Post named in honor of R.L. Clore June 29, 1918 Corporal Robert L. Clore USMC was listed with the Marines that lost their lives at Chateau Theirry in France. The Battle of Château-Thierry was fought on July 18, 1918 and was one of the first actions of the American Expeditionary Forces (AEF) under General John J. "Black Jack" Pershing.
