2018. January 25. Events from Post 307 Meeting.

 

 

King Cake Celebrating the Birthday of the National Guard. Founded in 1663, Post 307 celebrated the 354th Birthday of the Guard at our January 2018 meeting with a New Orleans traditional King Cake.

 

National Guard members of Post 307: Kenny Enclade, Denis Mire, Vincent Enclade, Bill Feary, Norman Crassons, Francis Hays, Bob Thorbae, Bill Hasenkamfp, and Fred Muhs. 

 

Welcome new member of Post 307.  Leon Connely and Doug Borden. 

 

Robert Moreau, representing Special Forces Chapter XXX, presents a plaque to Past Post Commander and Post Chaplain Hunter Harris, and Post Commander Gary Fank.  The plaque is recognizing Post 307 donation to support veterans from all branches of the military to ride on a Mardi Gras Float in the Argus Parade in Metairie in 2017  

 

Mardi Gras Argus 2017-1 Some of the veterans who rode in the Argus Parade Mardi Gras Day 2017. Post 307 help sponsor some of these veterans.
