Delegates Leave For State Convention Tomorrow

"Derived that a post of the American Legion shall be organized in Morris, local former service men have been busy in the last few days enrolling membership and preparing for the state convention to be held in Peoria Friday and Saturday. A meeting/banquet room was added to the rear of the original post building. The new space has room for bingo, meeting, receptions, and has a separate functional kitchen. Members of the Committee were Ken Allen, Ed Maskel, Don Bright, Steve Black, Carl Anderson, Jim Hougas, and Lee Gibson. (1977, month and date unknown)

Club Room Remodel

One of many periodic remodels. This remodel reconfigured the bar from a grand piano shape in the front of the building to a horse shoe shape set back from the front.
