When the Bristol Mum Festival Committee folded after 50 years, and handed it off to the Bristol Exchange Club, Post 2 took over the Bristol Home Town Hero for the Exchange Club. The Post collected names from the community, one person was chosen to fill that Honor. The Post held a breakfast in his honor for him and his family. The Exchange Club volunteers were also on hand.
