The Community of Mattoon takes it serious with their American Legion Post #287 for all the help the Post have done for the citizens. For all the new community projects that happen from Chili Cook off to Smelt Fry, the American Legion is always there to inspire whatever the community does to make it a greater place to live. The Post is invited for the help and pride they created for the community.
