88 Veterans, Spouses, and family traveled to Washington DC for the dedication of the World War II Veterans Memorial. The group departed on 28 May and attended the dedication ceremony for this monument to our fallen heroes

On this day the members of the American Legion Family from post 31 collected $4200.00 and delivered it to the victims of the West Virginia Floods. Relief funds were delivered to Cowen, William River, Webster Springs, Camden and Richwood communities

The American LEgion Family was present at the dedication ceremony of the Haywood Bridge in honor of US Army CPL John Belcastro WWII veteran. The American Legion Family will be presenting the colors for the Ceremony! American Legion Riders Post 31 and the entire Post 31 family representing our Community with Honor! Great moment for the Haywood and Lumberport communities.

Shinnston Community Bicycle Rodeo

The American Legion Riders contributed to the purchase of 2 bicycles for the Bicycle Rodeo, it was a great day watching the Children's faces as they won a free bicycle. The program focused on safety with bicycle inspections and obstacle course. The children were provided with free helmets. Safety material for parents including free child identification and fingerprint kits from The National Center For Missing and Explotted Children.
