Body of Veterans Meet to Organize a Post

Temporary Commander Wilmer Brinton, Temporary Adjutant George Mood were unanimously elected and given the task of interviewing the State Commander on charter application. For the third consecutive year, the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary and Eddie Cantor, radio, stage and screen star, will jointly sponsor the "Gifts for Yanks Who Gave" Christmas program for the servicemen and veterans in the hospitals this Christmas, Roy W. The West Seattle Grand Parade was started in the 1935 by then American Legion Post 160 Commander Orville Rummel. Today there is an annual trophy that bears the founders name, that is given to a community member that excels in community service.
