· Post Excellence Award 2013
· 100% Membership Department Commanders Club Certificate
· Moved – Relocated Meeting Facility to Old Historic Court House for Provo Post 13
· Established Utah County Veterans Program for all Utah County Veterans Organizations to meet.
· Hosted Open House for County and gave Commissioner Awards and Provo Public Works Awards. Did a Historical Documentary for channel 4, 830 am 30 minute program. (DVD)
· Hosted Southern Re-vitalization Program. Went from 61 Members to 118 Members from Sep – Dec 2012
· Held Oratorical Scholarship Contest. Post, District and Department levels.
· Provo won Department Oratorical and represented Utah at National. (Adam Roberts)
· Held Eagle Scout Scholarship contest. Eagle Scout Conrad Smith won Department and represented Utah at National.
· Sponsored Blood Drive
· Represented Mayors Veterans Council member. Co-Sponsored Veterans Day Activity with Timpanogos High School and Provo Veterans council on the Memorial Day Activity and Re-dedication of Provo Cementary Memorial.

· Washed Dishes for 6 hours Daltons’ Payson Home Fund Raiser
· Presented Dalton’s Historical Plaque for Payson Veterans Home Fund Raiser. Paid and presented
· Worked to have a 501 ( c ) (3) American Legion Charities Tax Exempt number.
· Provided Blood Drive Certificates to Sponsors and American Red Cross. (16)
· Did special Program for Korean Veterans and gave personal Letter and Certificates form Department of Defense. (45).
· Provided Color Guard for Food Coalition shelter Open House
· Provided Color Guard for Piano Gallery for Grand Opening of Patriot Piano/ Organ>
· Re-wrote updated and approved Articles of Incorporation and By Laws.
· Had a Quarterly News letter every quarter
· Flag Detail for Appleby’s
· Hosted National Vice Commander Janett Rae during Department Oratorical 3 Days.
· Worked at Cross Roads Show Membership Drives (3)
· Participated Fort Douglas Welcome Home Warrior Program
· Handed out 2 Truck loads of Toys for Tots.
· Co Sponsored a Sub For Santa for 3 Families with Provo Postal Credit Union
· Participated “Music from the Heart” Payson Home Fund Raiser
· Served on Freedom Festival Committee. Freedom Festival Flag Retirement Committee. Wrote Program and did the Production for “Remembering Utah’s Fallen” Ceremony. (168 Families of members of Utah that lost their lives during the War on Terror.
· Supported Payson Home Open House as co coordinator with Jeff Hanson Home Director.
· Sponsored 9 Boy’s to Boy State
· Sponsored 3 High Schools with School Awards
· Sponsored Brigham Young, Provo High School, , and Independence High School (14) Awards for Military Scholastic and Millitary Excellence medals and ribbons and certificates.
· Held American Legion Birthday Dinner at Sizzler’s. and Elections
· Participated in Bill Christopherson’s naming of the Foothill, SLC Veteran’s Home.
· Participated at several Governors monthly meetings and Governors Job Summit booth.
· Participated at BYU Officers Commissioning
· Did District Veterans Baskets. Delivered Orem and for Provo Veterans In Nursing homes.
· Visited 2 Veterans in Hospitals Gerrald Memmt=ent DAV and Ken Cluff)
· Paid for and presented Awards to Utah Commissioners and presented Certificates
· During Ribbon Cutting paid for all refreshments.
· Participated in Fort Douglas Welcome home Warrior
· Represented Department at University of Utah ROTC Banquet and presented Military
Excellence and Scholastics medals and ribbons
· Purchased over $3.000.in Evolution Flags for youth and Community Education.
· Supported Cries of Freedom with Evolution Flags.
· Wrote 3 Resolutions and presented them at District
· Represented American Legion at Mayors Prayer Breakfast
· Took 40 Colonial Flags, and 50 Quilts to Saint George Veterans home 537 Miles
· Chartered 7 new Sons of The American Legion for Post 13
