April 16, 1959: Commander gave report on Legion building. Size of 50 x 100 with 40 x 50 basement for fire trucks. Decided to dispose of old building for possible $6000.00.
May 14, 1959: Vote on motion to put up new building 50 x 100. Mortgage other Legion building and land. Borrow money so project can be started. Twenty members present at meeting. Fourteen votes in favor. Six against. Motion carried.
June 11, 1959: Report by Commander that Legion can borrow $10,000.00 from bank for the new building.
