Roy Anderson Sept.21st,1896- Aug.2nd,1917 Roy Anderson was a member of Co. M 4th South Dakota Infantry.He was killed in a accident between Yankton and the James river, while Company M was guarding the bridges during the First World War. His name honors this Post.

John Chandler (Chan) Gurney/South Dakota State Sen 1939-1951 & First Dist Commander. Chan Gurney Municipal Airport (Yankton)is also named after him. Carl I. Youngworth/SD Sports Hall of Fame Inductee, started coaching career in Winner SD in 1921 where he coached Notre Dame Coaching Legend Frank Leahy, Athletic Dir./Track Coach Yankton College. Retired Lt.Colonel USAF. Crane-Youngworth football field is partially named after him. Matt Michels a PUFL was elected as Lt. Governor on Nov 2nd, 2010 and is yet still serving the citizens of South Dakota as of Feb 15th, 2015.
