Downtown Indiana officials wanted to help spruce up the town by displaying American flags in time for Flag Day.
They got an assist from American Legion Post 141 in Indiana and Upstreet Architects owner Tom Harley, who donated the flags, said Jess Bowman, DI’s main street manager.
The flags will adorn lampposts along Philadelphia Street from the 500 block to the 1000 block throughout the summer.
