Agenda:
Meet at the Park&Ride at Stayton Oregon, convoy to the parade line-up area, emplace the float banner on the front of the trailer, put the 13 flags in their holders, prepare the buckets of candy, and wait for the start of the parade about 1100.
The Aumsville Corn Festival parade is the official commencement activity for the Festival itself, that we also participate in. It signals the end of the corn season in the area and is a major event that draws several thousand people from all over the planet. The Post has been in the parade for a number of years, and is always warmly received and saluted as we parade the national colors, as well as the MIA/POW, service flags, Legion colors, and Post colors. We have both riders and walkers with our float.
