Re-convene after Mill City parade earlier in the day, park the float in the line-up area on the street as directed by our entry #, and return after lunch at about 14-1500. Parade starts at 1600 and runs until about 17-1800. Bring candy for the crowd. We have both float riders and walkers alongside, to hand out candy and thank the crowd.
The Post has participated in the Parade for many years. This 4th of July parade is a big deal in the town, and the local citizens expect and are pleased when we show the flag(s) on the float. Many stand and render salutes, bowed heads and a tear or two at our passing with 13 flags on board.
