Meet at 0830 at Stayton Park&Ride, travel at 0900 to city park in Mill City, and line up until 1100. Will finish up at about noon. Bring candy to toss to the crowd.
The Post has participated in this parade for many years. It is well attended by families going back 4 generations in the crowd. There are marching units, bands, fire equipment, Scouts color guards, and many floats for the Legion, businesses, VFW, and local schools and organizations, plus the ever-present Shriners little go-cars. Crowds exceed several thousand, many more than live in town, the area, or the entire Santiam Canyon.
