On April 28, 2016, Stevens-Chute Post and Unit 4 had its 2015 Oregon Boys and Girls State citizens come to its general membership meeting. These young men and lady were invited to tell the Stevens-Chute family their experiences at Willamette University. Following their speeches, they were presented Boys State and Girls State awards from Post Commander Andy Jura and Unit President Karen Banks. The 2015 citizens that came to the meeting were Shade Streeter, Dylan Albertazzi, and Kara Meeuwsen from Summit High School and Steven "Cole" Ireland from Bend High School. On June 6, 2016, Stevens-Chute Post 4 Adjutant Lara Chan went to Mountain View High School to present the Boys State certificate to Caleb White.
