With the decline in membership and being unable to maintain the Post property, a motion was made to sell the Post property at 356 Home Ave. to A.H.O.P. Church. The chandelier that hangs in the Post Home was originally in the Joseph Warren King Home in Xenia. The American Legion had purchased the King home for its first Post Home, then later sold the home to construct the current Post Home. With the selling of our Post Home and the historical value of this chandelier (1850), it was donated to the Greene County Historical Society.
