American Legion Post 82 performed a series of plays and musical performances in the 1920s, 30s, 40s, and 50s. The majority of these performances occurred at the locally renowned Levoy Theatre which was built in 1908 and underwent expansions in 1912 and 1927, and remained a prominent figure in the City of Millville up until its closing in 1974. The Levoy officially reopened in 2012 resurrecting the Millville icon for future generations to enjoy one of the city’s greatest pastimes.
