Sons of the American Legion formed a Squadron at Post 82 in 1936. Squadron 82 primarily consists of sons and grandsons of war era veterans. A number of SAL members have gone on to serve in the military themselves and now rate/hold dual membership as both a Legionnaire and as a member of SAL.
