Schuyler Post Namesake Honored with Bronze Statue

Fred McLeod, Schuyler Post 47's namesake, was honored with a bronze bust placed at the Colfax County Courthouse. McLeod enlisted in August 1917 - he and other members of the 5th Marine Corps were killed in the Battle of Belleau Wood near Thierry, France. The complete story can found in the Columbus Telegram.
