The L'Eau Qui Court Cemetery in Niobrara is just one of a few cemeteries that have an unknown soldier buried there . A granite marker reads :

World War 1
American legion Post #224 and V.F.W. post 4834 cooperated in a joint effort to remodel the grave site, where every year a Memorial Day service , conducted by both posts , is held for departed comrades. On Memorial day 2000 a dedications of Niobrara's unknown soldier memorial was held ;
a plaque attached to the new permanent podium tells the following story.
HERE RESTS
IN HONORED GLORY
AN AMERICAN SOLDIER
KNOWN BUT TO GOD
INTERRED AS
PRIVATE ARTHUR FRASIER
1921
WHO LATER RETURNED
HOME LEAVING THIS
GRAVE WITH AN UNKNOWN SOLDIER
