Installation of the M60A3 Patton tank, RUST-N-PEACE, SN 2672A RN JJ04OV, to place on June 24, 1985. It was acquired from the Nebraska Army National Guard. The photos follow its journey from the National Guard Armory in Mead, Nebraska to its current post, serving as sentry to the Gretna American Legion Leonard Conley Post 216. The last photo of the group was taken October 16, 2017 following a new paint job and replacement barrier, an Eagle Scout project completed by a son of one of our members.
