Lewis Cerv: Louis Cerv was one of the first men to be inducted into the service from Dodge in 1917. He died in a hospital after being gassed. Emil Vitek: Emil Vitek was inducted at the same time, he was never found. He was missing in action after a major battle in Europe.

What Makes this Post Unique
The Post is located in the Holsten Memorial Building. This structure was erected by Richard H. Holsten and Lilliam K. Holsten for the Village of Dodge and for use by The American Legion Post 122 and The Veterans of Foreign Wars. The building is gratefully dedicated to the memory of the Holsten Family. The building is also known for the town Tony Stecher lived in. Tony Stecher - 1889 - 1954. Tony was the Minneapolis Outstanding Wrestling and boxin Promoter. The achievements of Tony Stecher and his brother Joe Stecher, former World's champion, will forever be a part of wrestling history.

Legion Post 122 held it's annual Youth Activities Dinner Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the VFW and Legion Veterans Club. American Legion Post 122 demonstrated the folding of the American Flag for the grade school children and staff of St. Wenceslaus School in Dodge.
